Six speed stackers from the wider Wanganui area have been confirmed for the NZ Black Stacks selection team for 2015.
Top prospect Jasmine Anthony, of Wanganui Girls College, who will be attending the World Championships in New York in April next year, was an obvious name among the 20 announced yesterday.
Joining Anthony is her former St Mary's schoolmate, Allanah Millar.
The pair are also in the Junior Black Stacks team off to Taiwan for the Asian championships.
The new local names announced by the World Sport Stacking Association NZ (WSSA NZ) are Ben Flighty, of Feilding High School, and the Arthurs from Marton - Brianna, Caleb and Josiah.
WSSA NZ said the 20 names were confirmed but subject to each individual's availability: "It is a huge commitment for stackers and their families and some may not be able to travel next year. We take nothing away from them making the team and being, for their age group, the very best New Zealand has."
