WANGANUI STROKE SUPPORT GROUP
What: Monthly social afternoons. Guest speakers, entertainment, indoor bowls, boccia, stroke support.

TAI CHI FOR HEALTH
What: A modified form of tai chi taught specifically for health. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

TUI MOTU GROUP
What: Tui Motu is an independent Catholic magazine, published monthly, it invites its readers to question, challenge and contribute to its discussion of spiritual, social and ecological issues in the light of gospel values and in the interests of a more just and peaceful society.

DVD EVENING
What: Miracles from Heaven is based on the incredible true story of the Beam family. When Christy discovers her 10-year-old daughter Anna has a rare, incurable disease, she becomes a ferocious advocate for her daughter's healing as she searches for a solution. After Anna has a freak accident and falls three storeys, a miracle unfolds in the wake of her dramatic rescue that leaves medical specialists mystified, her family restored and their community inspired.

INTERSCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY
What: Aranui Primary School is hosting the 27th Annual Aranui Interschool Cross Country. About 540 children from 35 primary schools in the wider Whanganui area - including Waverley, Ohakune and Hunterville - will be taking part.
