High times for fearless Pulse

With the goal of making the top four of the 2013 ANZ Championship, the Haier Pulse netball squad has already taken things to a higher level ...

Coach Robyn Broughton and captain Katrina Grant came up with the idea of using Adrenaline Forest's high ropes complex as part of a pre-season training camp in Porirua.

A test of stamina and strength, not to mention their ability to handle heights, it saw the players negotiate a multi-level aerial obstacle course and they came through with flying colours.

Meanwhile, the draw for the ANZ Championship has Pulse, which has Wairarapa as part of their franchise, opening their campaign on Sunday, March 24 away to the Thunderbirds in Adelaide. Their first home game will be on Monday, April 1 against the Firebirds in Porirua.

The Pulse squad is: Katrina Grant (captain), Joline Henry (vice-captain), Amber Bellringer, Paula Griffin, Claire Kersten, Camilla Lees, Liana Leota, Te Huinga Selby Rickit, Victoria Smith, Caitlin Thwaites, Daya Wiffen, Donna Wilkins.
