Former Wairarapa rep Robin James made 35 as Newbolds Marist Old Boys reached 100 against Rathkeale College. Bowling for the students, Thor Crombie took 3-18 and Josh Blatchford 3-4.

Rathkeale College made light work of their target with openers Harry Clinton-Baker (51 not out) and Elliot Mason (42 not out) still at the wicket when the winning runs were scored.

Greytown batted first against Wairarapa College and Blake Lyford's hard-hit 62 was the highlight of their 131-7.

Lucien Burt was the pick of the College bowlers with 3-16.

Wairarapa College in reply made 118-6, thanks in the main to coach Jake Ross who made 34 and Burt 30. Lyford completed an excellent all-round effort for Greytown by taking 2-15.
