The SPCA Op Shop in Masterton will be auctioning the entire contents of its storage shed next weekend to help get the SPCA centre back up and running.
The auction will be held on Saturday at the shed behind Pizza Hut. Viewing for the auction starts at 9am with the sale beginning at 12pm.
Op Shop manager Fleur Harlick said she hoped to see as many people as possible coming to have a look.
"It's the whole shed full so there's heaps, and heaps, and heaps of stuff.
"We've just been sort of collecting it for a long time, before we even opened, and we want to not have to pay rent for the shed any more.
"We figured this will raise lots of money that we need."
The Auction House was running the bidding and had done a lot of the sorting for the op shop, she said.
"There are just box lots of pretty much anything. There are tools, hardware, heaps of kitchen stuff, books, collectibles, china, pretty much anything you can think of.
"And there's a really cool old sewing machine."
Op shop volunteer Ross Nixon said helpers were trying to do all they could to raise enough funds to get the centre up and running again.
"That's a big part of it. It's something else we're trying to do to move it all along and get this thing going ahead."
The two op shop workers said they were grateful for the people who gave their support.
Mr Nixon said he "just wants to give everyone who has helped out a big hug".
He said op shop mascot Jazz the dog could not wait to greet the community at the auction.
