National and Labour gave Kuripuni attention over Monday and Tuesday.
Labour opted for "hoarding teams" at the Kuripuni roundabout on Monday evening, earning the team - including candidate Kieran McAnulty - plenty of toots, plus the occasional rude gesture from going-home motorists.
National candidate Alastair Scott strolled the Kuripuni shops on Tuesday.
Cherie Wright, of Churchfields shoes, told him she had been overseas for a long time and voting in New Zealand was something new.
"Since coming home, I've realised how much the country has changed," she said.
Across the road at Ray's Barbers, 'Ray' said he has always voted because it was important to have your say.
He was clear on his choice of vote, regardless of dirty politics, but said it was the dirtiest election he'd seen. "But customers are telling me, they're not worried about unsubstantiated rumours and speculation."
National used hoarding teams in Carterton during the Daffodil Festival on Sunday.
