Former police officer and Police Ten 7 television presenter Graham Bell will be guest speaker at The Professionals Patrick and Scott charity dinner for child cancer in Masterton on July 25.
Mr Bell had a 33 year career in the police force, retiring in 2001. A profile on his website suggested he was one of the best police officers around.
"During his police career Graham became widely recognised for his uncanny abilities as the officer in charge of a series of high profile investigations."
After Mr Bell's retirement he spent several years as the police media liaison officer in Auckland where he was involved in major investigations in the region from 1989 to 1995.
His case list included a raft of high profile murder cases, complex cases involving offending by police and many other well known events; all brought to a successful conclusion.
The presenter of the television show Police Ten 7 is rated as a top guest speaker.
"Since taking up his television role Graham has carved out an enviable reputation as a highly entertaining speaker. He has an amazing ability to impart useful advice in a format that is liberally sprinkled with unique and hilarious stories from his vast experience in the police."
Tickets for the dinner at the Copthorne Hotel in Masterton are available from the Masterton office of The Professionals.
