The Noosa International Food and Wine Festival opens with "The Cook, The Chef and The Orchestra", a gala evening featuring Australian food legends Maggie Beer and Simon Bryant, the Queensland Arts Orchestra and flautist Jane Rutter.
During the festival, top international and Australian chefs will give cooking demonstrations, talks and workshops, and join a dinner series that includes the prestigious Qantas Best Dinner in the World.
Australia's best winemakers will present tastings and share their knowledge in the Village Wine Marquee, while the International Riverside Marquee showcases French, Italian and Asian cuisine.
Lifestyle Lunches celebrates Queensland produce, and there are food and travel kiosks, cooking competitions, and brilliant entertainment.
