Singapore Airlines together with its regional carrier SilkAir is offering two lucky Herald Travel readers the chance to experience the magic of travel in Asia.
All you have to do is send in a story of no more than 150 words outlining your most magical travel experience.
You could win a prize package worth up to $5000 of return economy air tickets (see conditions below) for two flying Singapore Airlines to Singapore and then beyond to any of Singapore Airline's and SilkAir's 55 destinations throughout Asia.
That could be Siem Reap and the ancient Cambodian temples of Angkor Wat; Chengdu, the home of China's giant pandas; the Indian seaside city of Kochi, gateway to the tranquil waterways of Kerala; Indonesia's island paradise of Lombok; the mysterious city of Yangon, hub of Myanmar; the extraordinary Nepalese capital of Kathmandu; the fabulous Thai beach resort of Phuket; the beautiful island of Langkawi in Malaysia; the Vietnamese city of Danang and the famous Marble Mountains; or colourful Cebu, oldest city in the Philippines.
You can see the full range of destinations at singaporeair.com. The winners will be responsible for their own arrangements in whichever destination they choose.
Included is a two-night stopover in Singapore, with accommodation and complimentary entry to many of Singapore's top attractions, plus shopping, dining and sightseeing discounts.
The 10 best entries will be selected by Herald Travel editor Jim Eagles and nzherald.co.nz travel editor Eveline Jenkin. The winner will then be chosen from those finalists by Singapore Airlines general manager Looi Tein Po.
