Hororata dairy farmer Dougal King has once again been hit by vandalism, this time with holes drilled in 24 tyres on two pivot irrigators.
This latest incident follows on from a similar attack on 30 tyres in October 2017.
King spoke to The Country about the damaged irrigators saying he is suspicious the motives for the vandalism could be anti-farming.
King believes he has been targeted due to the convenient location of his farm which is visible from the main road.
Police have not caught the culprits from the first attack, says King, "there's not really a lot they can do."
King predicts the latest attack took place around midnight on Monday or the early hours of Tuesday morning and urges anyone who has seen anything unusual to report it to the police.
"You kind of think well what else could they do...if they wanted to they could walk around the whole farm and get into my cow shed and do God knows what."
