It's the whole show in one go! Today The Country is brought to you by Farming Today and 1994.
Why? On this day back in 1994 a radio show called Farming Today was launched on to the unsuspecting New Zealand public by a young(ish) bloke named Jamie Mackay.
That show blossomed into The Farming Show and is now known as The Country.
On with the show: Lisa Murray: We go the Met Service to update the latest on the potential severity of the impending threat that is Cyclone Cook.
Damien O'Connor: Labour's Primary Industry Spokesman offers his thoughts on how we can change the perception of farming following the less-than-glowing depiction on the Sunday programme.
Richard Loe: Is a Canterbury farmer and former All Blacks hard man who reflects on 1994 and declares the drought in Canterbury to be finally over.
Ben Russell and Martin Skurr: The Head of Rural Heartland Bank gives us his "state of the nation" for agriculture and announces the winner of the trip for two to the Calgary Stampede.
Jim Hopkins: Is a rural raconteur who pays tribute to the late John Clarke as we ask why are farmers no longer regarded as fondly as Fred Dagg?
