Canterbury is used to dry weather but Richard Loe says he's actually hoping "summer won't last too long!"
The former All Black caught up with The Country's Jamie Mackay today to chew the fat over farm life in his region. Loe managed to get a lot of hay and silage due to a bit of rain over the Christmas season so he's sorted for winter feed.
Loey also reports on how farmers are getting on restocking their farms when breeding stock prices are high, especially ewes.
Next Jamie and Richard talk a bit of footy with an update on the Farmlands Cup clash in Darfield on February 4th when the Highlanders take on the Crusaders. Tickets are as rare as hen's teeth!
Speaking of rare tickets...Jamie wants to know whether Loe was invited to Richie's wedding recently.
Loey speculates the invites were possibly lost in the post or "swiped by some swine".
