Barry Soper is here to talk to The Country's Jamie Mackay about the week in politics.
Of course the word of the week is Brexit. It's been a busy few days and Soper can't believe that David Cameron is gone and Boris Johnson will not taking over after being 'stabbed in the back' politically as well. Everything has happened so quickly.
Soper reports that Britain needs help with its new-found freedom and Minister of Foreign Affairs Murray Mcully has offered to lend some of New Zealand's trade negotiators to assist.
The UK only has 40 trade negotiators compared to the European Union's 550. There are 70 plus trade agreements that need to be looked at by Britain so they're going to need support.
Back home, Winston Peters has told John Key to 'butt out' of the Australian election; Jamie wants to know if Soper thinks Key is interfering?
This leads Soper to ponder the effect of a Labour government over the ditch, which causes the normally a-political Mackay to hyperventilate in fear.
Finally and most importantly...why did Barry Soper put kisses at the end of his text to Jamie Mackay?
