Eight time champion and world number one Serena Williams has been sent packing from the Miami Open.
Williams has been beaten in three sets by Russian veteran Svetlana Kuznetsova.
She won the first set in a tiebreaker, but Kuznetsova won the next two 6-1, 6-2.
Auckland's ASB Classic champion Roberto Bautista Agut has upset ninth seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga to reach the fourth round.
The Spaniard has fought back from a set down to win 2-6,6-3,7-6.
Bautista Agut will face sixth seed Kei Nishikori in the fourth round.
Meanwhile fifth seed Simona Halep is through to a women's quarter final against Timea Bacsinszky who has ousted third seed Agnieska Radwanska in three sets.
