Game of Thrones actor Maisie Williams used her time on the Emmys red carpet to quash rumours that Jon Snow is still alive.
"The answer is no, he's dead, sorry," Williams told TVLine.
"And the interview that you've all read that [made you] think that Kit spoiled it is fabricated and it was totally false," she said.
Snow, played by Kit Harington, was last seen in season five bleeding to death after being stabbed by the men of the Night's Watch.
In an interview with Belgian magazine Humo, translated from Dutch by a helpful Reddit user, the usually cautious Harington appeared to have confirmed that he would remain in Game of Thrones.
"Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while," he told Humo.
"I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over."
Williams also revealed a little about what her character Arya Stark will get up to in the sixth season of the hit HBO fantasy drama.
"I've thought of a really good teaser for my storyline: Arya may be fighting blind," she said.
