Cara Delevingne says the American talk show hosts who told her to "take a nap" don't understand her British sense of humour.
The model and actress appeared on Good Morning Sacremento this week in one of the most awkward interviews of all time.
After unenthusiastically answering questions about her new film Paper Towns, one of the anchors suggested Delevingne "take a little nap, maybe get a Red Bull".
Delevingne responded in a tweet today, writing, "Some people just don't understand sarcasm or the British sense of humour".
She was backed up by 80s British pop star Boy George, who quoted the tweet and added: "I do".
Having previously worked as a successful supermodel, Delevingne has moved towards acting in recent years, with Paper Towns being her first major starring role.
