Eaten Alive, the attention-grabbing documentary in which conservationist and snake expert Paul Rosolie is voluntarily swallowed whole by a giant green anaconda, will be on New Zealand screens next week.
Sky Television has announced the Discovery Channel show will screen on Friday December 12 at 8.30pm.
Wearing a special suit custom-built to protect his own - and the snake's - safety, Rosolie's goal was to survive the anaconda's constriction and potential ingestion.
The show's publicity claims the stunt is so Rosolie can help raise awareness of the destruction of the Amazon Rainforest, the ananconda's natural habitat.
