Two contestants on My Kitchen Rules New Zealand say the episode was so tense it felt like the finale.
Corporate dads Aaron and Josh were eliminated from the cooking competition on Sunday night, losing their head-to-head challenge to Aaron and Heather.
It was a close contest, with Aaron and Josh scoring 50 out of 60, while Aaron and Heather scored 54.
Tonight's second semi-final sees Neena and Belinda take on Dai and Dal for a position in Wednesday night's finale against Aaron and Heather.
We chat to Aaron and Josh ....
Herald: What is it that you think you could have done better to stay on the show?
Aaron: To be honest - we left everything on that kitchen table! Nothing is my answer.
Josh: I agree with Aaron. We had a blast, we put 100 per cent in and we are proud of the outcome.
What are you most proud of during your time on the show?
Aaron: The proudest moment was the judging of our semi-final - we left nothing behind and it was an honour to go down to our very talented friends Aaron and Heather.
Josh: Being able to cook against who we consider the best couple on the show (Aaron and Heather). Quite honestly that felt like the final! We were so proud we had that chance.
Any embarrassing moments we should be made aware of?
Aaron: Dai and her awesome little squeaky farts that would just appear and have us all in fits of laughter! She is awesome! (her record was three in the same shoot).
Josh: When Dan said, "Oh... you guys have Pacific Island food - are you going to cook KFC?" Also when I told Jessie not to panic and that she would find a great guy one day ... The next day I found out she was dating Ricki!
What was the best thing you ate while on the show?
Aaron: Wow! I will have to say it's a tie! I cannot separate the Boco Loca from Aaron and Heather and Dai and Dal's amazing pork larb.
Josh: I loved the larb and Steve and Maura's pasta.
And the worst?
Aaron: Got to be the pumpkin pie - it was just weird.
Josh: The under-cooked crayfish at Kelly and Megan's. It was a waste.
Which judge was the toughest?
Aaron: They were all equally tough - but also very supportive throughout the final stages.
Josh: I think Ben was the toughest. I found them both to be great in the latter stages.
What's the best piece of behind-the-scenes gossip you can give us?
Aaron: What goes on at Kitchen HQ stays at Kitchen HQ!
Josh: The van - I have never spent so much time in a van. Sometimes up to three hours a day (stationary).
