Police have released a photograph of a woman allegedly used by a Christchurch man to lure men into online relationships.
Cameron Stuart Hore, 27, was arrested last week and charged with sexual exploitation, obtaining by deception and sexual grooming through online internet contact.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at the District Court, sitting in Christchurch men's prison, on November 22.
Detective Sergeant Scott Anderson of Christchurch South Police said the photo released today was used on a Facebook page in the name of Sarah Ruddenklau.
"The offender posed as Sarah Ruddenklau to strike up online relationships with unsuspecting males," Mr Anderson said.
"At this stage we don't know who this person is, or whether there is any connection to the name that was used.
"If anyone can identify the person in this photograph we would be very interested in hearing from them."
The alleged offender also used the fictitious name of Dan McPherson to arrange to meet people he had contacted online.
