The Chiefs will depart today for South Africa for the first leg of their two-week international tour without Brodie Retallick after he broke his ribs yesterday against the Lions at Waikato Stadium.
Retallick suffered the rib injury early in the second half and will be out for about 4-6 weeks.
The Chiefs play the Southern Kings at Port Elizabeth next Saturday on March 12 and then fly to Argentina to take on the Jaguares in Buenos Aires on March 19.
