THE INGLEWOOD Cricket Club recognised their talented junior players at their annual prize giving at the end of last year.
Thirteen youngsters received honours for their selection into Taranaki representative teams. All of the cricketers have been playing for the region in national tournaments throughout December and January.
Three of the youngsters deserve special mention 16-year-old Amy Lobb was selected to represent the Taranaki Women's Team, Rhys Lobb, who plays for the Inglewood Premier Team was selected for the Taranaki Under 17s and Brent Stevens, who plays for the Inglewood Senior Team made the Taranaki Under 15s.
The Inglewood Herbert Electrical Cricket Team won the Senior Primary School Division 2 Competition.
The Inglewood Unichem Ducks Pharmacy Team were runners up in the Junior Primary School Division 1 Competition.
