Another long weekend and more lives lost on our roads with alcohol being the main factor again. When are people going to get the message? Driving after you have been drinking is never a good idea, but how about when someone who is obviously intoxicated thinks they are OK? How do you stop them from driving? What do you do to keep friends or your loved ones from getting behind the wheel? I guess everyone should take responsibility for their own actions, but can we make a difference? We can certainly try to stop family and friends from driving after they have been drinking. We should also lead by example and never get behind the wheel after a drink. What about those sitting in the pub with no friends to stop them? Should this be the pub's responsibility? We all need to do our bit to curb drink driving. Should the legal limit be changed? Why not just have a zero tolerance? What would you do if a drink driver killed your loved one? Email: bernadette.vanwyk@stratfordpress.co.nz-->
