The PTA of St Mary's Diocesan in Stratford are excited about the huge response already to their second annual Under the Mountain Arts and Crafts Event that is coming up on Labour Weekend Saturday.
After last year's tremendous success with over 70 stalls and more than 800 people through the gate the PTA are expecting even bigger and better this year. Focusing on quality home-made arts and crafts the stalls will be spread out over the school field and in the dining hall. Everything from jewellery, wood crafts, garden art, recycled materials, glass, sewn items, chocolates, clothes, pottery, hand-made cards, a bake stall, icecream, german sausages, pizza, hot mini donuts, coffee and the PTA's own specialty food tent - there will be something for everyone. Maybe even some early Christmas shopping!
The St Mary's PTA are a particularly active enthusiastic group having contributed nearly $30,000 to the school's resources and activities over the past 5 years including fundraising towards the school's new gymnasium.
Growing the Under the Mountain Arts and Crafts Event each year is the PTA's prime objective to keep supporting the school and community.
