Well Lily and I only have four weeks to go until pets' day (wow where's that time gone?).
Lily is now is now 2 months old and getting very big. She is having three litres of milk morning and night still, as well as having muesli during the day.
I have spent lots of time brushing Lily this week as she has started to lose all her winter coat.
Lily is now doing quite well with her leading. Most of the time she is walking where I want her to, just sometimes we have a few problems but I guess calves have bad days too, just like us. It can be really frustrating at times.
I bet anyone that has a pet calf can understand this. The trick I have learnt is not to get frustrated with my calf because as soon as I do this my calf picks up on my attitude and then will not lead at all. Silly Lily - and me of course.
I will spend the next few weeks leading Lily a couple times a day and brushing and talking to her lots so she is really quiet when it comes time for pets' day.
I am really enjoying having Lily and I hope that you are all enjoying your pets as much as I am.
I hope you are all enjoying reading my articles. Look out for another one next week.

Hi Everyone,
I have had an awesome week this week. Midnight has finally learnt that I am the boss, even though she is still very headstrong. So I have finally tamed the beast!
I have spent a lot of time this week brushing her, but more time teaching her I'm boss and getting her to lead properly. So I have had no more candid moments like last week's photo. She is doing really well with leading now and has learnt to lead in an M shape as this is what we do at Kaponga Primary School for the seniors with calves. Midnight is still getting milk twice a day and as much meal and hay as she can eat. She also has fresh water in her paddock as this is very important. She didn't like the bad weather we had on Friday night as I heard her call out in the night, but she had her shelter to go in and the company of Peanut. Midnight has been spoilt so much with the amount of food I feed her, she has now had to go up a cover size. She has lots of meat on her bones to keep her warm.
My pet day is Friday October 18, so in my next column I will be able to tell you all about her first outing.
My top tip for the week:
If your calf is not wanting to lead and is a bit stroppy, keep calm and keep trying, your calf will soon learn.
