Ladies out to set tills ringing

Eltham will be abuzz again on December 5 with ladies painting the town red during the third annual Eltham Ladies Delight Shopping Night.

This year, for the first time, there will be around 15 stalls showcasing products and articles of businesses run from home.

"We wanted this opportunity to also be open to businesses that do not have a premises in town," says organiser Tracey Best.

She says the late night shopping event also gives those who frequently pass through town after hours to also browse the shops for gifts, bargains and products.

"It is a fun event, for people to thoroughly enjoy themselves. Comments we received last year were that it was 'just great', that they remember last year and want to come again."

Tracey reminds women to get their free entry form (available from all participants) and collect four stamps shopping at the participating stores or stalls to enter the prize draw.

"It is a girls' night out and also the ideal opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts. Come have fun and enjoy our town," she says, adding that there is ample parking.
