More than 95 current Stratford Women's Probus members gathered on Monday to celebrate the club's 18th birthday. Foundation members Lorna Maxwell (first president), Beatrice Hughes, Joy Stallard and Betty Morrison gave speeches about the early days and collectively cut the cake.
Current president Fay Drinkwater said the luncheon was a great day enjoyed by all. Stratford Women's Probus meet once a month, with an average of 60 members attending.
