As many as 150 homes were deemed to be uninhabitable following the tornado that swept through Hobsonville in west Auckland yesterday.

Social media editor Troy Rawhiti-Forbes and reporter Paul Harper are on the ground in west Auckland talking to residents affected by the destruction.
