Forecast: Westerly 25 knots easing to northwest 15 knots this evening and to variable 10 knots overnight. Northwest 20 knots developing Tuesday evening. Rough sea easing. Westerly swell west of Cape Farewell to Hawera, 6 metres easing. Westerly swell in the east, 5 metres easing. Poor visibility in rain developing late Tuesday morning, mainly in the north, easing by Tuesday evening.
Outlook: Outlook following 3 days: Northwest 25 knots rising late Thursday 40 knots then easing late Friday 30 knots. Sea becoming very rough for a time. Southwest swell, becoming heavy in the west from Thursday.
