Easing to southerly 45 knots Friday morning,and to 35 knots Friday afternoon. Sea becoming very high in the east for a time. Southwest swell 6 metres easing in the west. Northwest swell rising to 2 metres for a time. Poor visibility in showers, with possible squally thunderstorms today.

Outlook following 3 days: In the west: Southwest 25 knots rising Sunday 35 knots with very rough sea.Easing Monday westerly 25 knots. In the east: Southerly 30 knots easing Saturday 15 knots. Becoming Sunday westerly 25 knots.
