Baycorp Holdings Limited has bought Australian-based software development company, Carisbad Pty Ltd, which trades as Axcess Consulting.
Baycorp paid $A2.5 million ($3m) to acquire Axcess from its founding shareholders Kelvin Poole and Ivan Colak, who will remain with the company. Axcess, which will be renamed Baycorp Software Solutions, provides banking software solutions and support tools such as accounting and general ledger, email and fax integration. Baycorp has licensed the system for several years.
