Police searching for a jewellery box missing from the Lundy home in Palmerston North have had a good response from the public.
Christine Lundy, aged 38, and her 7-year-old daughter, Amber, were bludgeoned to death on August 29.
Police have received 17 phone calls about the wooden box, painted with a clown's face. It was bought for Mrs Lundy about 15 years ago from the city's old PDC department store.
The box was reported missing by husband Mark Lundy.
