New Zealanders Marina Erakovic and G D Jones have won their first round matches at the Wimbledon junior tennis championships.
In the men's singles Jones defeated 12th seed Karan Rastogi of India 6-4 6-4, his second victory over Rastogi after beating him at Roehampton last week.
His second round opponent is Guillermo Alcaide-Justell of Spain.
Fed Cup player Erakovic was forced to recover from a 5-2 first set deficit to defeat Ekaterina Kirianova of Russia 7-6 (2) 6-4 in the women's singles.
Erakovic started slowly but fought back to win the first set tie-break by seven points to two.
She then survived a tight service game at 3-4 in the second set before breaking her opponent for a 5-4 lead. Erakovic meets Nicole Frankova from the Czech Republic in round two.
William Ward, from Auckland, won his match the previous day.
