Marcus Armstrong has had a mixed weekend in the German Formula 4 championship at the Nurburgring but ultimately finished with a good haul of points.
The impressive 16-year-old qualified poorly and took 10th place in the first race of the weekend.
Armstrong was eighth in the second race when a big accident saw the race abandoned halfway through.
He was classified eighth with half points awarded.
But he turned his weekend around in the final race, storming to his third win of the season.
He remains second in the championship standings with two rounds remaining.
Kiwi Nick Cassiday has finished sixth alongside Ryo Hirakawa at the latest round of Japan's Super GT championship at Fuji Speedway.
The former Toyota Racing Series star started the 300km race from seventh in his Lexus LC500. He dropped a couple of spots late in the race to finish seventh.
The pair has dropped to third in the championship but are only five points outside the lead heading to the crucial Suzuka 1000 event.
Fellow Kiwi Jono Lester finished fifth in the GT300 field.
He moves into the top 10 in the standings with that result.
