SHANGHAI (AP) " The Port Adelaide Dockers have easily beaten the Gold Coast Suns 16.14 (110) to 4.14 (38) in the first regular-season Australian Rules football match played in China.

Fairfax Media in Australia reported that the pre-match festivities became an issue when the Port Adelaide team's theme song was initially played instead of the Australian national anthem.

After players and umpires took their positions for the Australian and Chinese national anthems at Jiangwan Sports Centre, a ground operator had accidentally pressed the wrong button, a Port Adelaide official said.

The mistake was quickly rectified and the Australian national anthem was eventually played. At the end of the match, Port Adelaide's theme song was played without any issues.
