Lydia Ko has withdrawn from the LPGA's latest tournament in Texas with a viral eye infection.

The Golf Channel reports the world number one has been fighting pollens in the Dallas area, which worsened the irritation.

Ko's agent Michael Yim says her left eye started swelling up so bad that she couldn't see the white alignment line on her putter.

Lydia Ko shot a one under par opening round, before carding a one over in the second.
