Sam Logan is putting thoughts of a trip to Australia aside with a domestic target the first jumping priority for Ngatira Gold.
The Cambridge trainer already has the winning polish on the versatile six-year-old, who will attempt to remain unbeaten this year when he runs in the Classic Cuisine Caterers & Event Management Highweight at Tauranga today.
"He's good to go and we're just hoping the track doesn't dry out too much," Logan said.
"After Tauranga he'll go to Te Rapa on May 6 for the open hurdle and then back there again a fortnight later for the Waikato Hurdles."
