Stylish Attack is in the right order to make the most of an unexpected group one chance tomorrow.
The genuine daughter of Tavistock can crown a lucrative campaign with victory in the transferred Fiber Fresh NZ Thoroughbred Breeders' Stakes.
"I wasn't going to run her if the race had been at Te Aroha because she doesn't handle bog tracks, but moving it to Te Rapa has helped us out," Cambridge owner and trainer Graeme Hughes said.
"Michael Coleman will be riding her and he's not worried about her on the track at Te Rapa."
Placed in all three of her previous visits to the Hamilton course, Stylish Attack has been a winner this campaign and she has subsequently bridged the gap to black type company.
The five-year-old finished third in the Eagle Technology Stakes at Pukekohe Park and at her most recent appearance she was a fast-finishing second to Miss Wilson in the Cuddle Stakes at Trentham.
"I'm stoked with her - she's a good, consistent little pony," Hughes said. He is likely to give the mare a break after the weekend. While Stylish Attack has won all four of her races at a mile, he is keen to run her over more ground.
"I'd like to sneak her up to 2000 metres," Hughes said. "She tried it once at Awapuni, but you can't take any notice of that, it rained all night and all day and she couldn't go in the heavy ground."
