Kiwi doubles player Michael Venus and his Croatian partner Mate Pavic have won through to the semifinals of the ATP Tour's Stockholm Open.

The fourth seeds have edged a Swedish wildcard pairing 6-4, 3-6, 10-8 in the Super tiebreak.

Meanwhile Artem Sitak and Nicholas Monroe have been beaten 6-0 6-4 by the third seeds Olivier Marach and Fabrice Martin in the quarter finals of the Antwerp ATP tournament.

In Las Vegas, Ben McLachlan and Aussie Jarryd Chaplin have been beaten in the quarter-finals of the US$50,000 by the big-serving team of Sam Groth (Australia) and Peter Polansky (Canada) 6-1 6-4 .
