Silver Ferns shooter Ameliaranne Ekenasio has been ruled out of tomorrow's final test of the Constellation Cup with a minor injury.

Ekenasio has taken limited part in training this week as she battles a couple of minor injury niggles, and Silver Ferns management opted not to risk setting back her recovery by playing her tomorrow.

The loss of Ekenasio, who was a stand-out in last month's Quad Series but has played limited minutes over the past three matches against Australia, is the only change to New Zealand's 12-strong match day line-up.

She has been replaced by defender Storm Purvis, who comes into the test line-up for the first time this series.

Australia lead the Constellation Cup series 2-1 and have the trophy all but locked away for another year, with the Ferns requiring a win by more than 22 goals to break their four-year title drought.
