Wisconsin pulls away for win at Michigan State

EAST LANSING, Michigan (AP) " Wisconsin's Leo Musso returned a fumble 66 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter as the Badgers pulled away to win 30-6 at Michigan State on Saturday.

Alex Hornibrook threw for 195 yards and a touchdown in his first start for Wisconsin, which shaded the Spartans in the first half before outscoring them 17-0 in the third quarter.

Michigan State was down 13-6 early in the third and had the ball in Wisconsin territory when LJ Scott's fumble bounced to Musso, who spun past the quarterback's last-line tackle and all the way to the end zone.

Stanford's J.J. Arcega-Whiteside caught a touchdown pass from Ryan Burns with 24 seconds left to complete a rally for the Cardinal and a 22-13 victory that extended their run of wins against UCLA to nine straight.

Christian McCaffrey rushed for 138 yards for Stanford.
