West Indies on 62-2 as rain hits 4th test against India

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad (AP) " West Indies reached 62-2 as rain forced an early end to the first day of the fourth and final test against India on Thursday.

A downpour had also delayed the start of the match, before home captain Jason Holder won the toss and elected to bat. There was time for just over an hour of play before the rain came before lunch.

After a steady start, opener Leon Johnson fell for 9 to fast bowler Ishant Sharma, with Rohit Sharma taking the catch. Darren Bravo (10) soon followed, after misjudging a straight delivery from off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin that hit his off stump.

Kraigg Brathwaite (32) and Marlon Samuels (4) are the not out batsmen.

India leads the four-match series 2-0 and is looking to keep its place at the top of the test rankings with a win.
