Having a superstar in the back of your truck is enough to distract any driver.

For the ambulance carrying an injured Sonny Bill Williams this morning, that meant getting lost in the streets of Rio.

New Zealand Herald columnist Scotty Stevenson put a tweet out this morning after talking to Williams.

Williams was diagnosed with a partial rupture of his Achilles and is expected to be out for six to nine months.

The injury ended his Olympic campaign and will see him sidelined for the 2016 Rugby Championship.
