Kiwis doubles star Michael Venus will leave his title winning teammate Mate Pavic to team up with Marcus Daniell to prepare as a partnership for the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympics.

The Kiwi pair are playing in the Segovia Challenger in Spain this week where they will also be joined by their coach for Rio, Lan Bale, a former doubles specialist on ATP tennis circuit and coach out of Queenstown.

From Spain the team will travel directly to Rio arriving July 31 for practice and training prior to the 2016 Olympics.
