THE TOP FIVE
Kieran Read: 8.33 (8, 9, 8)
Best performance - 2nd test: It's the scope of his game rather than any one thing that is so impressive. From lineout steal, to setting up clever scrum try. Plenty of ball running and defence.
Beauden Barrett: 8.33 (7*, 9*, 9)
Best performance - 3rd test: Poor Wales were no match for Barrett's whirling legs. Two terrific tries, and also goal kicked well. Even a charge down. Shifted to fullback.
Aaron Smith: 8 (7, 8, 9)
Best performance - 3rd test: The commanding live wire. Big passes created tries. Pinpoint bombs. Candidate as NZ's greatest halfback, ever.
Dane Coles 8 (8, 8, 8)
Best performance - All three tests: (From first test) Brilliant lineout throwing vital. Lots of tackles. No trademark magic moment.
Israel Dagg: 8 (7,9)
Best performance - All third test: Errors crept in but a tremendous test full of running. Huge part in Moala try.
