Konrad Hurrell's Gold Coast Titans career has got off to a shaky start.
Eager to impress at his new club after departing the Warriors, Hurrell made an immediate impact.
Unfortunately, his first act as a Titan was knocking out teammate Chris McQueen.
In an attempt to tackle Parramatta Eels flyer Michael Gordon, Hurrell collected McQueen with a swinging arm as he attempted to wrap up the tackle.
McQueen hit the ground prone and had to be assisted from the field. The frontrower was ruled out of the game shortly afterwards.
Hurrell didn't last the full game either, having to leave the game with a calf injury after 55 minutes.
He finished with nine carries for 59 meters while also making 12 tackles.
"It's going to take time for Koni," Titans coach Neil Henry said.
"He didn't have too many quality touches. He didn't get much room to move.
"He tightened up at the back end of the game with the calf problem. He would have liked to have seen a bit more ball."
The Titans lost the game 22-12 to drop out of the top eight.
