Former All Blacks winger Cory Jane has conceded that his days in a black jersey are over.

Speaking to Tony Veitch, Jane said he didn't even bother to return a complimentary call from coach Steve Hansen when the All Blacks squad was named, because he didn't need to hear he didn't make it.

"I didn't need reasons," Jane said.

"I'm not going to be an All Black again, and I know that."

Jane told Veitch that he was leaving his All Blacks dream behind and was looking towards a future in Japan.
