Four riders have been involved in a highly-dangerous Moto2 race at the Motorland Aragon in Spain, where an exploding gas tank created a fireball that engulfed part of the track.

Rider Xavi Cardelus spun out of control, crashing out of the race beside the track as his bike flipped numerous times, causing his fuel tank to break off of the bike.

The fuel tank skidded back onto the track, and a fellow rider hits it at high speed, resulting in a dangerous explosion.

The red flag was immediately shown.
