Warriors centre Solomone Kata will miss this weekend's NRL match against Canberra.

Kata has taken an early guilty plea for his dangerous tackle on Penrith's Jamie Soward.

Meanwhile Kiwis forward Martin Taupau will miss Manly's next three NRL matches after taking an early guilty plea for his dangerous throw on Brisbane's Matt Gillett.

Taupau will be out of action against Cronulla, Canberra and Penrith and won't be back on the field until June 20th as the Sea Eagles have a bye in round 12.
