Tana Umaga's nephew is representing England in rugby.

Jacob Umaga, the 17-year-old son of Tana's brother Mike, has made six appearances for England's under-18 team and will represent England under-19s this weekend against France.

Taking after his father and his uncle, Jacob plays throughout the backline and will start at second five-eighth in tomorrow's game against the French side.

He's also the first choice goal kicker for the under-18s as well as his club team, Leicester under-18s, where he plays in the Aviva Premiership Academy competition.

Jacob grew up in England as Mike Umaga has played and coached club rugby there since 1997.

Tana Umaga is a 74-cap former All Black captain and current coach of the Blues Super Rugby franchise.

Mike Umaga represented Samoa and has played and coached club rugby in England. He is the director of rugby at Bishop Burton College in East Yorkshire.
