Kiwi Michael Venus has been beaten in the second round of the ATP Challenger tournament in Irving, Texas.

A day after beating the world number 89, Venus has lost 4-6, 7-6, 3-6, to young American Jared Donaldson.

The 19-year-old is ranked 158 in the world.
