Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie have returned to the 470 Sailing World Championship podium.

The New Zealand pair have finished with a silver medal at the regatta in Buenos Aires, despite a sixth placed finish in the medal race.

Aleh and Powrie missed out on the podium last year after winning it in 2013 and coming second in 2014.

Daniel Wilcox and Paul Snow-Hansen finished second in the men's event with a second placed finish in the medals race.
